Background
Diane is a resident of Southern California, where she has been living for the past nine years with her husband, Keith Gamache Jr. Their journey together has taken them across various states in the USA, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Maryland, New York, and finally settling in California. Throughout their travels, they have embraced the diverse cultures and dynamic communities they encountered.
Diane’s passion for sign language led her to pursue a Master’s degree in the field. For over a decade, she has been sharing her expertise as an Adjunct Professor, teaching sign language at various community colleges. Her work not only allows her to impart knowledge but also facilitates communication between individuals and the Deaf community, which brings her immense satisfaction.
While juggling the responsibilities of her career and personal life, Diane values moments of personal enjoyment and self-care. Engaging in activities like reading, leisurely walks, hiking, and spending time at the beach provides her with relaxation and rejuvenation. Nature’s beauty offers solace and a chance to unwind amidst the busyness of life.
Throughout the years, Diane has served in various callings within the church. She has been part of Relief Society Presidencies, Young Women Presidencies, served as a Primary teacher, Relief Society Teacher, and contributed to newsletters. These experiences have allowed her to connect with and serve others, strengthening her sense of community and personal relationship with God.
