Michael and Emilynn Bleazard

Family Day Coordinators

Emilynn is a CODA and grew up in the Utah Valley Ward and Lehi 44th branch/ward. She served an ASL mission in New York City from 2018-2019 (same as her dad, 25 years before). She recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors Degree in Human Development with a Child Life Emphasis. She is currently serving as the young women’s president in the Utah Valley Ward and has served in nursery, primary, and as emotional resilience for self reliance facilitator.

Michael is a triplet who was born Deaf. He is from Houston, TX.  He grew up using SEE signs at school, and didn’t learn ASL until he served his ASL mission in Washington D.C. from 2015-2017. He has since lived in Provo and has served in Elder’s Quorum, as the Executive Secretary and currently as the Ward Clerk in the Utah Valley Ward. He is studying and working in IT with hopes of eventually moving into CyberSecurity.

Michael and Emilynn were married in 2020 after meeting at an ice skating FHE activity for the Utah Valley Ward. Together they enjoy stargazing, road trips, and racing each other on Mario kart. They are serving together in the Provo temple for the ASL sessions. This is their first year being involved with the Deaf Symposium and they look forward to new opportunities as Family Day Coordinators.
