In 2019 Emmalee was the chairperson for the 2019 Deaf Symposium hosted at Taylorsville Institute. She is returning as the chairperson to preside over FSDY (For the Strength of Deaf Youth) and the Deaf Symposium.
In 2020 she responded to the prompting to create Come Follow Me content in ASL during COVID called “One by One Come Follow Me.” Over the years Emmalee has had the opportunity to be involved with various film management and productions in ASL.
From 2016 to 2019 she served as the manager and teleprompter for the Lamb of God ASL Cast.
She has had various opportunities to serve as president or counselor in Relief Society, Young Women’s, and Primary Presidencies.
She has had the opportunity to serve as a temple worker in the SLC & Jordan River Temple.
From 2001-2003 she served a 20-month ASL mission in Phoenix AZ. Upon returning she graduated from Utah State University in 2006.
She is married to her preschool BFF, Dean. They have been married for 13 years with 3 energetic children.
For more than 12 years Emmalee has taught seminary and institute. She loves to create opportunities for family and friends to gather.
She is a wife, mother, teacher, creator, and manager of Deaf Saints 4 Christ. Someday she hopes to lead ASL church history tours.
Her personal mantra she lives by is, “When life gives you lemons, God can use them to change lives.”
