Introduction
Background
Carolyn is a convert and has been a member for 43 years. She is CODA and raised in a Deaf family. She is married and has three children. She graduated with a B.S in Geography with emphasis on Travel and Tourism, minor psychology from Brigham Young University in 1990. She currently lives in Utah and attends UVU studying deaf studies and family sciences. She loves traveling, photography, and reading books. Church callings includes: Relief Society President, RS Teacher, RS Compassionate Service Co-Leader, RS Visiting Teacher Coordinator, RS Home Enrichment Leader, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Primary Teacher, Primary Secretary, Young Women 1st Counselor, ASL Ward Missionary, and ASL Temple Ordinance Worker. This is her first time presenting at the Deaf symposium.
