Stephen Peterson lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, with his wife of 11 years, Marianne (Phoenix) Peterson, and four children ranging from 10 to 2 years old. He hails from St. George, Utah. From 2008 to 2010, he served as a missionary in California, first in San Diego and then in Riverside. He graduated from Utah Valley University and then obtained a master’s degree from Utah State University. He has been teaching math in middle school at California School for the Deaf – Fremont since 2017.  His family loves to travel to new places and visit family. He enjoys meeting new people, spending time with his wife and children, and learning new things.  He is currently serving as the Fremont ASL Branch President.
